Paracosm Project has some significantly innovative ideas in its core. We humbly believe in the scale of these innovations, in their potential to improve things in the game industry and culture.
It would be indiscreet to proclaim something innovative and do not give detailed explanations of that product. Our team has already explained many details of the Paracosm platform and Caer Sidi service - throughout many posts on our official site. This new article summarizes the information, giving it in a structured, holistic way.
1. Paracosm platform
It’s a place for developers to share their games (paid and free-to-play) and for gamers to choose and start new adventures. On one hand, this is a traditional game store. On the other hand, some of its features are unique.
2. Caer Sidi service
One of the distinguishing features of the Paracosm platform is the possibility to exchange virtual items between games. This becomes possible thanks to the Caer Sidi service. The system can convert items to Caer Sidi Credits for players to purchase something from another game. With direct cooperation of developers, assets exchange can proceed with no intermediation of credits (rather with background intermediation).

To make the Caer Sidi magic possible, we power-up it with the technology of distributed registry. Information about assets origins, their owners, history, and value will be kept in Tangle. Thus the exchange becomes possible, and the overall security of this process reaches the highest level.
Games on Paracosm platform will write players data in Tangle. The very accounts can have access to the distributed registry, so their valuable information will be protected from fraud and backdated changes.
This is a powerful trend nowadays, and still it isn’t fully implemented on any platform. Some existing examples of physical objects that carry digital information are Amiibos by Nintendo and real-world toys for the game “Starlink: Battle for Atlas” by Ubisoft. Phygital objects of Paracosm Project will be connected to the DRT of Tangle, so the progress in the real world will be reflected in your virtual account. This will be a holistic system with possibilities for developers to release their own phygital assets and connect them to the Caer Sidi service. Our team does this with the playing pieces of Post Scriptum CTG.
We pay special attention to game products with VR/AR features, giving them a priority for publishing on the Paracosm platform and being connected to the Caer Sidi service. Our Project is meant to wipe off boundaries between realities.
We create the gothic world (paracosm), named Post Scriptum, and develop two games on its basis. The collectible token game comes first. The role-playing game will be released later.
The legendary fortress Caer Sidi has its virtual implementation in the form of a VR room. Our users can have their unique avatars here, meet each other in the virtual space, and start new adventures by entering portals to various paracosms.
Humanity works actively on the development of Artificial Intelligence. We are fascinated by the possibilities of this amazing technology and would like to direct it in a positive way.
AI will be added to the Caer Sidi service as independent users (not bots). This feature becomes possible thanks to the Qubic technology.
One more thing is worth to emphasize here - we are open for cooperation with development companies. The first such partner is the indie-studio Wanted Games with the collectible token game Altar: the War of Gods. We create a community-driven and gamers-oriented ecosystem. For developers, we are giving ways to expand the internal functionality of their products and reach with them a bigger audience. For gamers, we would like to gather great, quality, and innovative content.
