CGC - results for Caer Sidi
Networking event

The distributed ledger technology is relatively new, and still, it gets popularity in many various areas, including gaming. To demonstrate the practical usage of DLT in the game industry, developers and business people regularly gather together at the specialized events, Crypto Games Conferences. The most recent CGC took place in Kyiv, Ukraine, on October 10-11, and Caer Sidi participated in it.

It was a great pleasure to meet in one place so many enthusiasts of distributed ledger in gaming. And it was a great opportunity for our team to deliver information about the Caer Sidi service to other players in this market.

Our CEO, Pavel Shlapak was a speaker at the event. He explained the features of Caer Sidi and the advantages of using this service.

The primary reason for us to participate in this and other gaming conferences is the opportunity to start new win\win partnerships. Caer Sidi uses the distributed registry/ledger for many purposes, such as:

  • Synchronizing data between tabletop and online games through special phygital assets;
  • Adding value to in-game items and games in general;
  • Making collectible items for games and securing their real-world value;
  • Protect ownership of virtual assets;
  • Allows transferring data between games (achievements, experience).

At CGC, we have many productive conversations, which may come to promising cooperation.

The game Altar: the War of Gods was also present at CGC. It’s a working example of using the Caer Sidi service. This product aroused quite a lot of interest at the event. Our partners from the studio Wanted games helped us to hold a competition with a valuable prize - phygital figurine of Champion from the Post Scriptum paracosm.

  • Internationale Spieltage SPIEL’19 on October 24-27, in Essen, Germany;
  • Game Connection Europe on October 29-31, in Paris, France.

See you there!
